Building on years of experience with prosthetic patients, Orthocare Innovations has developed an objective system to measure and determine amputee functional activity levels. The Galileo™ consists of:

• A one-week period of activity measurement using Orthocare Innovation’s unobtrusive StepWatch™ technology
• Data transmission to Orthocare Innovations for assessment using proprietary algorithms
• Transmission of the patient record and functional level report to the clinician for incorporation into claims filed with payer
• Payment of a nominal per-record fee, plus a modest monthly subscription charge for use of the StepWatch™ Technology
