
Orthocare Innovations has been selected by R&D Magazine to recieve the 2009 R&D 100 Award for its computerized prosthesis alignment system Compas. The medical device research and product development company, which moved its headquarters to Oklahoma City this year, created the product to advance the fitting and management of prosthetic devices using embedded sensor technology. R&D 100 Awards salute the 100 most technologically significant products introduced over the past year. The R&D 100 Awards have identified new technolgies to the market, from the flashcube in 1965 to the anticancer drug Taxol in 1993 and HDTV in 1998.
