
Orthocare Innovations, a prosthetic technology research and development firm with a laboratory in the Presbyterian Health Research Park, has launched a research partnership with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab to transfer advanced technologies from military and national security deployment to medical applications.

RESEARCH IMPACT
Oak Ridge National Laboratory has developed a meso fluidics technology to replicate human muscle and replicate human muscle contractions for powered robotic prosthetics. The mesofluidics technology is being licensed to Orthocare for applications in next generation prosthetic devices to be built in Oklahoma City.
